Sacrifice for the Sacral
Sorcery for healing the second chakra — a poem
Healing stones
Heating oils
Distress a broken sacrum
Or make it slightly harder
to handle
Like a swollen heart
But this block to creativity
This forgotten womb
This mystery
Unravel a nebulous moon
My mother, fearing
Flew herself from
her half-tamed horse
Crawled from the pasture
Dragged herself to the barn
Ecstasy and ovary
Taken too soon
Excruciate, a choice
Crucifixion
Loss of a generation
Draw circles in the ocean
She said
Goddess pose
On the river bed
Reverse the spin
No easy fix
To flow the energy
But once you do
Pull earth in towards you
Balanced sensuality
