The Serene Sky

As the sun sets behind the hills,
A golden hue cast over the boundless sky,
Shimmering light spread across the azure sea,
Soothing wind whizzes across the sky
Birds soar back to its humble abode,
Flowers close in,
waiting to bloom.
The shimmer of light fades away.

As dusk sets in,
Sky glitters with glimmering stars,
The moon shines with all its charm,
she shines with dazzling light,
For all the lovers and dreamers,
For all the lone travelers glaring to the sky looking at the emptiness,
She shines with gleaming glittering light.

All that remains is sound of nature whispering among themselves,
And we wait,
We wait for an unknown tomorrow.
