Ma Katyayani is the sixth Goddess manifestation of the Navadurga (nine forms of Goddess Durga). Navaratri (the nine nights festival) celebrates the divine feminine.

there is a demon still
plaguing our heavens.
we are not angry enough
nor we have your fire.
the nights are darker
all our gods have left.
on our knees now, we look
for answers no one has.
so we ask you here to show
us your war face again.
one with red eyes of
fury for the tyrants.
one with mouth drinking
blood of ones who violate.
one with a lion tongue-
never-ending nightmare for evil.
Ma, show us your war face again
teach us how to be warrior goddesses.
