What is God?

God is the symbol
of a vast, immense, teeming
undefinable.

Like picking a piece
of plankton to represent
the entire ocean.

Like using ‘i’ to
represent the vast expanse
of the internet.

Like using twenty
six letters to represent
the English language.

We fight over which
symbol to use, losing sight
of its real purpose.

To trigger in us
the desire to search for the
undefinable.

Undercurrent of
consciousness that exists to
define everything.

All pervasive yet
barely detectable I
sometimes feel its flow.

An ocean of joy
I can tap into when I
lose sense of myself.
