Sous Vide Carrot Recipe

Cooking carrots in their own juices and aromatics is the BEST way to enjoy them! Sous vide carrots are quick and easy to make.
Quick Guide:
— 185°F for 1 hour
— Carrots (baby or otherwise)
— 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
— 1 tablespoon pure cane sugar
— Salt and Pepper
Step One: Place peeled carrots in vacuum bag with butter, sugar, salt, and pepper.
Step Two: Cook for one hour at 185°F and serve.

You can also sear your food in a hot cast iron skillet (I like to do both) and skip out on the torch and searzall. Finally, you can skip the vacuum sealer and use Ziplock bags with the water bath sealing method.
