Code with us from anywhere. Ages 7–18.

South Bend Code School’s mission has always been to make technology education equitable, accessible, and effective for students in our programs. We feel that education is an experience that must accommodate students from all walks of life.

With the pandemic, we have decided to make a shift to the way we pursue our mission by creating a virtual coding program. We feel this the safest option and it will allow us to ensure the health and safety of all of our students and instructors. In order to maintain the accessibility and quality of our programs, our team has developed a set of standards for our virtual coding program.

Classes are guided and taught LIVE by a Code School instructor.

We know that e-learning has presented a new way of doing things for both students and parents/guardians. We wanted to be sure to create a program where students felt engaged and parents/guardians could take comfort in knowing that their students would still be receiving the direct attention they need while learning.

Class sizes are limited to protect individualized learning experiences.

We decided to limit our class sizes in order to guarantee that our instructors can work with each student individually during the time of each class.

Curriculum is tailored to a variety of coding skills/experiences.

We created beginner, intermediate, and advanced coding classes to meet every participant where they are and offer room for growth.

Scholarships are available for students in order to maintain the accessibility of our program.

At Code School, we believe that technology education should be accessible for all students. We maintain an active scholarship program so students can receive financial assistance when needed. To learn more about our scholarship program, click here.

South Bend Code School offers coding courses for kids and teens Ages 7–18. Having virtual coding classes gives us the opportunity to invite aspiring programmers, designers, and animators to join us from all over the world!
