Majestic, Kempagowda, Bangalore

Took a bus to Shimoga from Majestic. Slept well in the bus and Stepped down at Nitturu. Had my breakfast, coffee than tea. Took a bus and reached the check post.

Stomach started his activity. luckily my machi Sam Boban gave an Idea before use tissue paper da. I have taken tissue paper with me, all is well.

It’s a long walk to reach the trek starting point. I started walking trespassing the check post.

I didn’t see any folks while hiking. It’s the less habituated area. after 5 km, I reached the next check post, got permission by paying 50 rs, kept my tent bag there. They’re not allowing camping. I saw a hotel there had Tea. Spent time with the hotel owner.

Reached the trek starting point. started solo trekking, beautiful and peaceful place and the mix of love songs playing in the earphone, that the moment of life, I have been waiting for a long time.

After two hours of trekking, I reached the base station. I could be seeing 100’s peoples coming by jeep to the base station.

Habituated & Polluted base station, I really hate seeing those plastic carry bags and bottles out there. bought a couple of pineapples piece from shops over there and started trekking towards the peak.

After 1 hour, I feel the heat. It was sunny and air flow is less due to I was at the back side of the peak.

No Noise, No Tent, No Halt. I could see a few children trekking towards the peak. I got encouraged moved faster towards

Fresh air, cool breeze. Reached peak, Hurray Hurray Hurray

Guys this place is really polluted with plastic bottle and bags. I’m insisting you, please carry your own water bottles.

Temple, Kodachadri Temple.

Trekking back towards check post. After spending an hour in peak, I could able to see 200 folks coming and going back to the base station.

College, while coming back I found a team of 100 college students and professor trekking towards the peak, they’re going camping out their base station. They’re lucky got permission from forest department for camping.

I started dancing no one is going to note me because no was there.

After an Hour I reached check post 2, took my bag from the forest guard. Walking towards check post 1. It gonna be the long walk for sure. I’m thirsty and starving for food, didn’t have lunch.

I found a gang who trekked to Kodachadri and going to check post 1. I asked for water, they’re kind gave a sip of water. God, they were so fast. They’re from Kerala, they gonna miss their bus. After long-running, I can’t say it walking, we reached check post 1. They’re asking so many queries, why we’re solo, my answer Lone Ranger. My back pain started, I sat in the road, probably had a nap in the road. Before there the bus to Kerala, my bus to Shimoga came, I thanks them, took a bus to Nittur.

From Nittur I took a place and reached Mookambika Temple Dwara, Kollur.

Fantastic Temple, but very strict, half trousers aren’t allowed to enter dharsan, I waited in a queue for 15 min, they’re sending me back.

Kavi Dhoti. I bought a Kavi dhoti, wore it, again waited in the queue for an hour and had Dharsan
