Is It Better to be Born With or Acquire a Disability?

I acquired my disability in 2005.

On July 2nd of that year, I dove into the shallow end of a swimming pool, shattering my C-5 vertebra (as well as splitting my head open and giving myself a massive concussion). This rendered me a quadriplegic.

I was 22-years-old.
