A deadly incident at SEPTA’s Broad-Tasker station early Wednesday morning required commuters to use huttle service.
The Philadelphia Police Department responded to an incident on the northbound tracks at 7:07 a.m. where a 22-year-old white male was found laying on the tracks. Medic 27 pronounced him dead at 7:19 a.m.
SEPTA suspended service in both directions from Walnut-Locust to AT&T Station. It resumed later in the morning.
The person’s name has yet to be released.
