a beautiful place :)

The earliest known dates for human occupation in Indonesia date back to 1.5 million years ago, based on evidence of stone tool use found on the island of Java. The first human settlement in Indonesia is believed to have taken place during the Pleistocene era, when sea levels were much lower and the land bridge between Asia and Australia was still present, allowing early humans to migrate to the region.
