Trevor Blaze was the kind of motivational speaker who could sell a sandbox to a beachgoer. His suits were an eye-searing kaleidoscope of neon colors and clashing patterns, a sartorial testament to his belief in “living out loud.” But when it came to getting his morning coffee, Trevor’s high-octane energy went from zero to chaotic faster than you could say “seminar.” It all started with his latest purchase: a motorized scooter with flame decals. He’d bought it on a whim, deciding it would make a grand entrance to his seminars. Plus, it gave him an excuse to avoid walking, which he called “a poor use of motivation.”

That morning, Trevor had a big gig at a downtown hotel, where he’d be addressing hundreds of people desperate to “unleash their inner winners.” But first, he needed his coffee fix. The coffee shop he chose was usually a quiet place, tucked into a quaint corner of the city, but today, it was bustling. The line stretched outside, and Trevor wasn’t about to wait. He revved up his scooter, the exhaust pipe letting out a loud roar, and zipped straight through the doors.

Inside, people scattered like pigeons in Trafalgar Square. The barista dropped a tray of muffins, and a customer spilled his latte as Trevor zoomed past. He parked the scooter right in front of the counter, ignoring the indignant shouts and startled gasps…
