We sat down with Faye Washington, the President and CEO of the YWCA of Greater Los Angeles to talk about her 32-year career in government, coming out of retirement to lead the YWCA, and the organization’s mission and work in Los Angeles. Located in South Park, the YWCA’s Urban Campus houses the Los Angeles Job Corps program along with 400 Job Corps trainees, social services, comprehensive health and dental care, and recreation space.
