Sovereign Wallet & MetaMUI Partners with IAMTN to Revolutionize Cross-Border Payments
We are extremely pleased to announce that we have joined the International Association of Money Transfer Networks (IAMTN), a non-profit organization for cross-border payment service providers and remittance companies worldwide.
IAMTN’s mission is to promote safer, faster, and cheaper cross-border payments and global remittances by providing a platform for public and private sector stakeholders to explore opportunities and solve challenges in the industry. Its membership consists of global remittance and payment companies, including MoneyGram, M-Pesa(by Vodafone), UPT, Trustly, and so on.
Together with IAMTN, we aim to use the MetaMUI blockchain to advance existing payment infrastructure and lead the way into a new era of international payment systems. While transferring money with current remittance service providers is expensive and time-consuming, on top of the MetaMUI blockchain, money can easily be transferred through a simple Internet connection without intermediary currencies. As a result, global remittance fees and transaction costs can be significantly lowered, and money transfer times substantially reduced to a matter of seconds, regardless of where it is sent from or received.
