Getting Started Guide on How to Navigate the Space Metaverse
With the release of our Alpha version, we have received highly positive feedback, along with some suggestions to launch a quick guide on how to access and navigate the Space Metaverse.
Without further ado, we leave you this walkthrough, so you don’t miss any details of how to experience the different scenarios in the Space Metaverse!
1.- Access the Space Metaverse from our official website

Once there, you can create your own space or join one already existing.
To do this, you must register by clicking on the upper right button on “Sign Up” to register with your email address or any social network of your preference indicated there. After verifying your email, you can automatically enter “Login.”
As additional information, you can download the SPACE App to your desktop and thus have a direct link to navigate to The Commerce Metaverse.
Another great feature of SPACE is that you can access your spaces with a password. To do this, you must click at the end of the webpage on the blue button “Join Space with Code.”
This will redirect you to a new window where you can create a password for your new space:
2.- Exploring spaces
With your Space Metaverse registration completed, by logging in, you will be able to find more than a dozen (and growing) spaces created by the team and other users to explore and navigate these fascinating virtual designs.
In this Alpha version, you will find a “Featured Space,” “Favorite Space,” and a button that allows you to “Explore” created spaces. As you go exploring and getting to know new places, you can add them as your favorites so you won’t waste time looking for them again when you want to navigate back to these scenes.
It is estimated that the time taken to navigate and explore new scenes will increase with the design and creation of new virtual spaces in the Metaverse by users of the ecosystem.
Therefore, adding spaces to your favorites list may make things easier for you in the future.
For now, you can browse Desert City, Gobi The Cat, or visit the Showroom, as one of the many scenes created and added in this alpha phase of the Space Metaverse
3.- Create Space
From this function, you can select any available template to create your own space in the Space Metaverse or customize any of the existing ones with your personal brand.
If you select a default style, Space will ask you to confirm that you want to use the selected template to create your own scene under that theme.
Once “Create a space with this scene” has been confirmed, to join, you must select an option on how you want to experience this predetermined space.
In the next section, we will detail each of the functions generally available in the Space Metaverse and how to select the correct one according to your needs.
4.- Navigating in a space
Once you have selected your favorite space, the platform will indicate the options available to join a scene as a spectator, with a VR device, or through your account on your computer.
If you decide to “Join Space,” you will be able to navigate in the selected space through your user account on your Desktop App or from your web browser on your computer.
If, on the other hand, you have a VR Headset, you can join the selected space through this device by clicking on the purple button “Enter on Device.” By choosing this option, a pop-up window will generate a unique code to join the space from a remote device or via a VR Headset.
Once inside the selected space, the platform will ask you to configure your audio/video devices. To do this, choose the one that best suits your comfort.
Once you have configured your audio/video and external devices such as a VR Headset, you are ready to explore and navigate the first Commerce Metaverse of the blockchain ecosystem! Your screen will show you some useful options on how to move around the selected space and even how to use your mouse to teleport to another space.
5.- Familiarize yourself with the scene
When you enter a space, you will find a series of useful buttons at the bottom of your screen that will allow you to interact with the rest of the people in that space. Let’s look at some of these functions:
- VOICE: With this button, you can control your voice command to chat with other users in the space where you are browsing.
- SHARE: Here, you can share your camera, your avatar, or the screen of your device with other users.
- CREATE One of the most important functions of Space. With this button you will be able to create and customize your own scene in a preconfigured space or one created by other users. Create a 3D model, a unique avatar, or simply upload a scene from your computer. There are six options to give life to your space.
- PEN: If you want to make a direct drawing in the scene or highlight something in particular and leave it permanently, you can use the PEN option.
- CAMERA: Capture a moment within the space where you are browsing and add it to your gallery to use it later in your designs.
- 3D MODEL: Here, you can create unique and personalized designs in 3D, incorporating objects from a pre-established gallery with more than 15 categories: vehicles, animals, art — using the 3D viewer Sketchfab.
- AVATAR: Customize your avatar with an original design or from a pre-existing one from the gallery. Currently, there are 03 male and 03 female models that you can customize, as well as 02 particular and rare avatars.
- SCENE: Incorporate an existing scene in our gallery into your space.
- UPLOAD: Here, you can upload your generated design from an external link or the corresponding file from your personal computer to the scene you are creating or customizing.
- REACT: A satisfied customer is important, and if you are a buyer who is happy with your purchase, you can demonstrate it in Space through emoticons that will reflect your emotions in immersive commerce with your seller.
- SPACE: Here, you can go to other spaces in a single click without having to log in again.
- Space Chat: A complete messaging service with social interaction properties to discuss and promote your products or discover new trends, ideas, or reactions from other potential users/merchants in the space where you are browsing.
Here you can attach a professional catalog of your products, a demo video, or chat with other users in the Space Metaverse to learn about fashion trends. At the top, you can see in the “people” section how many people are currently in the space you are browsing and the entry/exit history.
6.- Buying in the Space Metaverse
As in all virtual commerce, there must be a shopping cart and a payment button. In Space, you can find it in the upper right, where it says “Cart.” There you can add the items you want to buy from any virtual store in a given space.
Users will find at the end of the shopping cart an amount to pay, including taxes (as applicable).
Merchants will receive their payments once customers click on the green “checkout” button, which will allow them to process their payments with Stripe for now.
Fill in your personal data and payment settings and proceed to pay the amount reflected by your articles in the metaverse. If you want to change your mind at the last minute about a particular item, add more quantities or process a single payment, you can click on the red “Return” button and edit your purchase.
The Space Metaverse will incorporate more payment options in the future so that users can have a better trading experience, at the same time that it will allow any merchant to receive payments in the way that best suits their needs.
7.- More functions
Below the bottom bar of your screen, you will find three vertically aligned ellipses called “more.” Here, you will find a variety of Space functions divided into three sections: YOU, SPACE, and SUPPORT.
In the first section (YOU), you have four functions:
- Admin Sign in: Here, you can reset your login using your email.
- Create Space: It’s another shortcut for creating a space from scratch or from an existing template. When selecting this option, a pop-up window will ask you to confirm leaving the current space to create a new one. By confirming this action, you will be taken to the Space home page.
- Change Avatar Name: Here, you can customize your Avatar and choose the name that will represent your character in the metaverse
- Preferences: Here, you will find the necessary controls to customize your navigation through the Metaverse. Mute your microphone, control the volume intensity of the device, select your preferred language or simply control the 360-degree rotation of your periscope — these are some of the functions that you can adjust here on this button.
There are 32 options to personalize your experience in Space divided into three main sections: Audio, Controls, and Misc.
In the second section (SPACE), we find two functions:
- Space info and settings: You will find a description of the creator and administrator of the space you are browsing. For future retailers and brand owners, this is a powerful window to display information about their designers or creators of the space.
- Join Lobby: Here, you can join the Lobby Space directly from the space in which you are located. Remember that if you join as a spectator, no one will be able to see or hear you.
The lobby in Space is the reception desk, where you can find the gateway to the most prominent places in the metaverse.
In the last Support section, you have five useful functions for every Space user:
- A link to Space’s Discord channel to interact with your space managers, the development team, or the wider community.
- Report an issue: A link to submit any issue with the Space Metaverse through a general form.
- Start Tour: Start a guided tour of the Space Metaverse.
- Terms of Service: Read the Space Metaverse Terms of Service.
- Privacy Notice: A public statement on the handling of privacy and user data in this metaverse.
8.- Shortcuts and ending session
If you enter the Lobby or do a quick tour, you may notice that there are some keyboard shortcuts to make your navigation faster and easier in the Space Metaverse:
Finally, to leave a space, remember to click on the lower right button of your screen “Leave”. After confirming that you want to leave the space in a pop-up window, you will leave the space where you were browsing and return to the Space home page.
