Big Update: Space SIP Game Version 1.3 — The Revolution for Sustainable Growth
As you are all aware, Space SIP is continually striving for a robust community and long-term development. This is more than just a game to play and earn SIP, this is the revolution to build a complete Defi and blockchain system with many additional features in accordance with our 5-year roadmap!!
After listening to the community, consulting with our advisors, and hours of in-depth discussion, we decided to make a series of significant adjustments to the technological infrastructure, the balance of $SIP inflow and outflow, and partnership expansion. All for the sustainable development of the game as well as the long-term benefits of players, holders, and investors.
CHANGE #1: MYSTERY CAPSULE
- When opening Mystery Capsule (recruit a new spaceship NFT) with 500 SIP, 30% miss rate will no longer result in 10% — 15% SIP deduction. Instead, all 500 SIP will be credited to your in-game wallet.
- Newly recruited NFTs cannot be sold or transferred for the first 72 hours.
These changes remove barriers and risks for new players, making it easier for them to experience the full features of the game.
CHANGE #2: WITHDRAWAL TAX
Then:
Withdrawal tax is 50% and deduced 10% each day.
- Day 1: 50%

- Day 4: 20%
- Day 5: 10%
- Day 6: 0%
Now: Withdrawal tax is 50% and deduced 10% each day. The minimum withdrawal tax is 5%.

CHANGE #3: INFRASTRUCTURE MIGRATION TO AMAZON CLOUD (AWS)
We are excited to announce our migration to Amazon Web Services (AWS) — the world’s most comprehensive and broadly adopted cloud platform, offering over 200 fully-featured services from data centers globally.
Space SIP will migrate the entire server infrastructure to AWS to enhance security, become more agile, and innovate faster. This provides a strong foundation for Space SIP to reach new heights by ensuring high availability, scalability and security.
CHANGE #4: IN-GAME ADS
We are forming agreements with media networks and partners to arrange ads on Marketplace and Space SIP Game. The revenue generated by this ad placement will be reinvested in promotions and marketing.
CHANGE #5: LOCALIZE GAME IN THAI LANGUAGE
Space SIP Game will support the Thai language. This update allows us to promote and expand in the Thai market more effectively. A big shout out to the Thai community — our most enthusiastic supporters!! ขอบคุณมาก.
CHANGE #6: NFT AGE RATIO
To balance the $SIP inflow & outflow, facilitate playing and earning evenly for a long long time, the spaceship NFT will now have Age Ratio to measure its performance and Revive feature to regain its power. Details are as follows:
- Each NFT at birth (when recruited) has an Age Ratio. Age Ratio will be used to calculate earning rate in Mining and become one of the combat variables in PVE.
- Age Ratio will change based on the Age of the NFT (days) from its date of birth (Birthday)
- Genesis NFT’s Birthday is set to December 5th.
- At birth, NFT’s Age Ratio = 95%
- From the 25th day onwards, the Age Ratio deducts 15% every 5 days.
- When Age Ratio = 5%, it will stay the same if no Revive or Fusion acts are performed.
Notice:
- If Age > 40 (Age Ratio <50%), then when Fusion is successful, Age will reset to 36 (Age Ratio 50%), Birthday will reset to the corresponding date.
- If Age <=40 (Age Ratio >=50%), then when Fusion is successful, age will be -5 (5 days younger), Age Ratio will return to the corresponding level. The birthday will also reset to the corresponding date.
Revive
The Revive function, which requires $SIP to activate, will help reset the Age Ratio to 95%, reset the Age to 0, and reset Birthday to the corresponding date.
Revive Fee
Revive Fee will be calculated based on the Age and Level of the NFT according to the following formula:
Revive Fee = Base Fee + (Age — 50) + (Level / 10) * 50
Base Fee = 400 $SIP
For example:
#1: For an NFT with Age 50 and Level 10, the Revive fee will be:
Revive Fee = 400 + (50–50) + (10/10) * 50 = 450 $SIP
#2: For an NFT with Age 30 and Level 5, the Revive fee will be:
Revive Fee = 400 + (30–50) + (5/10)*50 = 405 $SIP
#3: For an NFT with Age 100 and Level 30, the Revive fee will be:
Revive Fee = 400 + (100–50) + (30/10)*50 = 600 $SIP
Special offer: 50% off Base Fee from Feb 11 — Feb 18
To celebrate the release of Big Update — Game V1.3, as well as our partnership with Amazon Cloud (AWS), we will have a 50% discount on the Base Fee for all players who execute the Revive NFT action. This means the Base Fee to reset NFT’s age is only 200 SIP from February 11–18. Enjoy regaining your NFT’s power, Invaders!!!!
How Age Ratio affects PvE
- When choosing more than 1 NFT to fight, the Age Ratio will be the average of the selected NFTs
- Age Ratio will become one of the combat variables in PVE.
How Age Ratio affects Mining (Staking NFT)
- Current Mining Power = Age Ratio * Original Mining Power
IMPORTANT: SYSTEM MAINTENANCE
With all the huge changes as above, we will carry out maintenance for 11 days.
Start: 3:00 AM UTC, January 31
Complete: 3:00 AM UTC, February 11
During Maintenance, players still CAN:
- Access game.sip.space
- Claim Tournament/PVE reward
- Withdraw SIP tokens
- Withdraw NFT from Mining Pools
- Trade on Marketplace
- Vote for Tournament
- Play Explore mode
During Maintenance, players CANNOT:
- Play PVE
- Send NFT(s) to Mining Pools
- Earn SIP when staking NFTs on Mining Pools
- Open Mystery Capsule
Notice:
- Players need to claim the SIP reward in Mining before we close the game at 3:00 AM UTC, January 31. After closing the game to proceed with the migration server, all SIPs in Mining Pools of the old server will not be available for claiming.
- January’s PVE and Tournament Leaderboard will be counted until 3:00 AM UTC on January 31.
