I love him but
he always thinks I’m leaving
I love him but
he only knows me as the thing that will be gone
I love him but
he can’t stop fighting me, to keep me
I love him but
he just waits for me to say “I’m done”
and only then
he will be free enough to love me back
and only then
he can see me and his loveless reign
and only then
he can fall in love for a small moment until
he gets scared to lose me once again.
