That’s a huge step forward for all our team as it reflects the mutual trust between the project and the community. Today we’re creating an ecosystem that’s as transparent as pure MILK.
The new SpaceSwap voting

Every 100,000 blocks, we choose which projects to include in the Interstellar.
First, we vote for the existing projects. The community decides whether to keep or remove them.
Then, if 1 or more slots from the available 9 become vacant, the community decides which project(s) from Galaxy will fill the vacancy/vacancies.
The same scheme is in effect for all the votes.

Why do we need a voting system?
I am constantly witnessing the rise and fall of numerous projects proclaiming their unique decentralization.
In fact, that’s just a wrapper. We offer the real MILKy desert.
Voting is the embodiment of the true spirit of decentralization by giving the power to the community. Thus, our holders become a space compass leading the SpaceSwap project towards new directions.
What is the voting power?
Many DeFi teams have recently been accused of hoarding tokens and voting power.
However, that’s not the real power within the system.
True voting power is the cornerstone of any decentralized governance system. It gives the community the ability to choose the development path of the project.
Our Galaxy voting system is evidence of a genuinely transparent platform where all the data is visible:
- number of votes
- percentage of votes
- start and end date for voting
- details of each voter
That’s what our Snapshot looks like.
It’s a perfect place that shows all the processes happening within the Galaxy voting system. Here, your voting power is equal to your balance.
So I’m guessing Sunday will be a good result day for all of us!
