SPANK.live is going Off-Air
SPANK.live’s first season is ending.
After much deliberation and initial hesitance, we’ve decided to turn the cameras off. For now. The show isn’t over, and we have hopes that Season Two will be bigger and better.
The reasoning is simple. SPANK.live is no longer the best showcase for SpankChain. It needs to be completely redone to do it justice. The account management is confusing at best, and — if someone loses their seed words — catastrophic at worst. Secondly, a camsite requires a steady stream of performers and tippers to be successful. There are numerous ways to achieve this and they all involve money and time. Buying traffic and robust affiliate networks are the industry norm, and there just isn’t a way to divert attention away from SpankPay and SpankClips to properly facilitate that right now.
Speaking of SpankClips, there are numerous reasons we’ve chosen to prioritize its development. Many of which address the issues we’ve found with SPANK.live.
- The ability for models to upload and monetize all of their existing content
- That content being available 24/7
- Building with native SpankPay integration out of the box
- The ability to have SPANK.live be a feature of SpankClips when it returns
SpankClips will incorporate many of the requested features we received for SPANK.live. This includes better Profiles, Offline Tips, Following Favorite Performers, Tags, Search and Discover, and more. Having SpankPay be the backbone for all this will make it possible to add into the newly revamped SPANK.live and the vision of a fully-cohesive porn stack will be realized.
