1/3 of all the food we produce is wasted.

What if we incorporated this food in a new production cycle?

For the third edition of Solutions&Co, we have focused on circular economy. This new economic model breaks with the traditional pattern of linear production (produce, use, dispose), and redefines products and services to minimize both waste and other harmful outputs.

* HONG KONG AIRPORT : recycling even in the sky!

Hong Kong Airport claims to be one of the greenest in the world thanks to ambitious sustainability and environmental strategies. These include comprehensive airport-wide food waste recycling and food rescue programs, the formulation of global guidelines for managing aircraft waste, and a soon-to-be rolled out AAHK’s pilot to prepare AA’s tenants, airlines and contractors for Municipal Solid Waste charging.
