1st December — Aaron Pearlman

Sparrho Advent Calendar

Meet a researcher who started with little things (as in computers with tiny memories in his childhood) and ended up chasing big things, as in neutron starts in the Milky Way.

Aaron was co-winner of Sparrho’s Researcher Prize in July 2017.

He is a PhD student at the California Institute of Technology is studying pulsars (err… that is highly magnetised rotating neutron stars).

Check out Aaron’s research here.

Fun fact: If you want to know what happens if you fly close to a black hole, ask Aaron! Read our interview with him here.

Want to win a £500 travel prize like Aaron did to present at a conference?
