We are pleased to announce the winner for our April Early Career Researcher Prize.

Ahmed Elsayed is a PhD student at Monash Biomedicine Discovery Institute, Australia, and specialises in pharmacology. He is keen to develop safer and more efficacious drugs and has convinced the jury with his pinboard submission,

Teaming up immune system and antibiotics for fighting resistant superbugs

that he deserved the prize for April.

Good on you, Ahmed!

Our winner will get £500 in travel grant money from Sparrho to help him visit the 18th European Society of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases (ESCMID) summer School, between 29 June — 5 July 2019 in Liverpool, United Kingdom.
