John Ng Pangilinan is the founder of Signum Capital, an investment vehicle that specializes in Initial Coin Offerings (ICOs) and blockchain related investments.
He also holds advisory roles in Kyber Network, Republic Protocol, Traceto.io. and Sentinel Protocol. In addition to these responsibilities, John is a founding member of the Aelf Innovation Alliance, whose core objective is the mass adoption of blockchain technology in the corporate world.
Born with a natural talent for sensing business opportunities, young John Pangilinan sold used text books and comic books at school bus stops at the tender age of 11. This experience kick started his journey into learning about sales and business. He has not stopped working since then.
With his educational background in Mechatronics Engineering and Business, John landed his first corporate job at Standard Chartered Bank. However, a strong entrepreneurial calling led him to pursue various innovative business ideas at the age of 23. Since then, he shares that his passion in venturing into businesses is fueled by successfully growing an enterprise and its staff. The most recent concept he launched is Makan Bus, Singapore’s first hop-on-hop-off food shuttle tour.
