An Open Invitation to Writers for Spatial Data Science Publication
Largest Publication dedicated to Geospatial Data Science
Over the past four years, the Spatial Data Science Publication on Medium has been a dedicated platform for Geospatial Data science articles, tutorials and learning resources. As the sole contributor to this publication, I have tried to provide valuable resources to the geospatial community. The time has come to announce that the Spatial Data Science publication is open to submissions from fellow enthusiasts and experts to contribute. We welcome contributions to spatial data science with a wide range of topics, including:
- Geospatial Analysis: Techniques, methodologies, and best practices.
- Earth Observation: Intersection of the remote sensing and machine learning, data acquisition, processing, and interpretation.
- GeoAI: the powerful combination of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies and geospatial data.
- GIS Applications: Real-world applications in various domains (e.g., urban planning, environmental science, transportation)
- Learning Materials: Tutorials and knowledge-sharing materials on all things geospatial.
- Geovisualization: Effective communication of geospatial information.
We’re happy to have already welcomed our first editor and writer this week Stephen Chege, marking a new chapter for Spatial Data Science publication. With nearly 100 articles already published, we are eager to expand our content and foster a vibrant community of contributors.
