Love can be a lifetime
A heart overfilled with rhyme
Love can be tomorrow
Hopes and dreams of what could be
Love can be a memory
Held tight for eternity
Love can be a flower
Dancing gently on the stem
Love can be a diamond
Sparkling as a vibrant gem
Love can be a daydream
Quiet moments in the sun
Love can be a sonnet
Fourteen lines, yet never done
Love can be a sunset
Fainting embers of a song
Love can be eternal
Its splendor is never wrong
