Where I live in the desert, summer heat comes as early as April. Sometimes when I get into my hot car during the peak of the season, I swear I can feel the water evaporating from my body. As I get older, I enjoy a cold glass of water more and more. Nothing hits better than the ice on my teeth when I take a drink on a sweltering day.

Water is important no matter the climate you live in. Here are some reasons why our bodies need water:
