Who am I?

Living with bipolar is confusing.

Your moods, sense of self and cognitive abilities are in flux. And so, you are regularly questioning your thoughts and perception of reality.

Your awareness of who you are and what your needs and desires look like change without notice and on no particular schedule.

There’s no cadence with bipolar mood shifts.

You have to keep a surfboard under your arm at all times and ride the waves as they hit.

One day, you may feel invincible and confident. The next day, you may feel worthless and hopeless. The day after that, you may feel like a bag of skin and bones with a brain barely firing on half a cylinder.

Some days, you may feel all of the above.

Did I mention that living with bipolar is confusing?

Is This Me?

Living with bipolar, you are in an incessant psychological and emotional state of unrest.

You regularly question the validity of your perception, your actions and thought processes.

It feels like you’re gaslighting yourself.
