Dear Friends of Special Olympics:
As members of Congress are undertaking the unenviable task of restoring our nation to fiscal health, a critical lifeline for people with disabilities has come under attack. If you have a chance, I hope you will read this article today in Politico in which I highlight how the Supplemental Security Income program fills a critical need for thousands of people with severe disabilities and their families in the U.S. I hope you will join me in urging members of Congress to support this program.
