Shh! They are listening…

Smartphones are everybody’s best friend. You tell them your secrets, where you’re going and when.

They know where you are all the time.

They know all your friend’s phone number and email. They know that you sent a text message to your friend John, saying that you’re going to buy a vacations house in Hawaii.

That picture you took with your cat and your sister last week? Your smartphone has it.

They have every single information about you! Even things you don’t know they have.

And now even TVs are spying on us.

You’ve probably heard about SmartTVs.

It’s like now you can watch those things you watch on your computer, but directly on your TV, like check the news, scroll through Facebook and use YouTube.

Which means, more information given to a machine the majority of people who use it can’t even totally control.

The popular television manufacturer, Vizio has been fined $2.2 million for selling Internet-connected TVs that track what the customers watch. They then sold all the data to advertisers.

So imagine ALL your information is now available to someone, somewhere, and they can do with it whatever they want, because you don’t even know about it.

Technology is beautiful, but very dangerous!
