If you haven’t figured it out by now, most of my posts have a mountain as the featured image. I like mountains. Get over it.

This list is intended to be my FAVORITE follows in the social media world. It is by no means every single person I find useful to follow, just the best of the best.

Weekly Videos

  1. Chris Ciovaccio
    https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC_ywfvIR2JrnMuZt33y7QYQ
Chris puts out a weekly video that is highly informative every week. He has useful blog posts throughout the week as well.
  2. ShadowTrader
    https://www.youtube.com/user/shadowtrader01
His weekly videos detailing Market Profile are solid.
  3. COTBase
    https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCIPXgu1ZbbebeTnhfSk6QCQ
    Good weekly COT Review

Daily Videos

  1. FuturesTrader71 “Trader Bite”
    https://www.youtube.com/user/FuturesTrader71
Really useful order flow based daily video.
  2. TradeProAcademy
    https://www.youtube.com/user/TradeProAcademy/
Useful daily video, more focused on the macro, news, economic releases. His education is also top-notch, and one of the very few paid education resources I would recommend.
  3. Benzinga Pre-Market Prep
    https://www.youtube.com/user/BenzingaTV/videos
They focus on individual stocks, earnings, and economic releases.

Blogs

  1. The Fat Pitch
    http://fat-pitch.blogspot.com/
A deep dive into the macro picture. Well put together and informative blog.
  2. Stockbee
    https://stockbee.blogspot.com/
I rarely read this anymore, because it is mostly repeated content now. But, I did learn a ton of things about scans and how to trade small caps. I subscribed to his paid site for a year. I do trade much differently from him, but I still use a lot of his scans.
  3. TraderFeed
    http://traderfeed.blogspot.com/
Dr. Steenbarger’s blog. One of the most highly respected trading psychologists in the world.
  4. Adam Grimes
    https://adamhgrimes.com/
Always an interesting and in-depth blog post.
  5. Jesse Stine “Friends and Family Market Alerts”
    http://jessestine.com/friends-and-family-market-alerts/
These come out a couple of times a year and are informative. I traded the Stine method fairly heavily for many years before transitioning to index trading more heavily. I still trade the small caps, using some of his principles combined with Stockbee principles, but I have my own wrinkles that I favor over their methods. I don’t always agree with Stine, but I still very much look forward to his letters when they come out.

Social Media

Order Flow

  1. https://twitter.com/mcm_ct
    His ticktools are solid.
  2. https://twitter.com/footprinttrader
Useful information about the FootPrint charts. I intend to talk about order flow at some point. I find FootPrints to be a visual way to look at the time and sales. Humans excel in using visual information. Executed orders matter much more than unexecuted orders, IMO.
  3. https://twitter.com/TheBish75
Very useful posts. Posts a lot of Footprint setups.
  4. https://twitter.com/vwaptrader1
    Market profile analysis.

Statistics and Backtests

Broad Category here I know.

  1. https://twitter.com/OddStats
Tons of backtests every day. Some small sample size stuff, but still great info.
  2. https://twitter.com/bullmarketsco
    Useful Macro and Backtests
  3. https://twitter.com/sentimentrader
I am a subscriber to his service and a huge fan of his material. His website is a great resource.
  4. https://twitter.com/hmeisler
Very useful macro and sentiment information.
  5. https://twitter.com/movement_cap
His website freecotdata.com is one of my favorite ways to view the COT info. He accounts for open interest and normalizes to a 2-year min/max.

Options

  1. https://twitter.com/SqueezeMetrics
By far the most useful free tool for trading. DIX 45% is one of the strongest backtested signals you will find.
  2. https://twitter.com/flowfocus
    Fed flow.
  3. https://twitter.com/Barton_options
    Fed flow and Options.

Podcasts

  1. https://markethuddle.com/
This recently surpassed Chat With Traders as my favorite trading podcast
  2. https://chatwithtraders.com/
  3. https://futuresradioshow.com/
  4. http://bettersystemtrader.com/
  5. https://www.trendfollowing.com/podcast/
  6. https://www.toptradersunplugged.com/

Crypto

The vast majority of crypto people are equivalent to a heavily drugged version of Timothy Sykes. I only have three people worth following here, in terms of trading-related content. There are some good people to follow for the tech side of it, the fundamentals, etc. Pomp and Antonopoulos being two of the better ones. But as a trading blog, I am posting mostly trading related follows.

  1. Hyblock Capital https://hyblockcapital.com/
Easily takes the top spot in crypto. The tools here are unique and provide a quantifiable edge.
  2. Cantering Clark — Blockroots.com https://twitter.com/CanteringClark
Order flow and price action based analysis of BTC. Very solid.
  3. Bitcoin Trading Challenge
    https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC-dLWl8etTtPSGdbbcYffGw
He has some outside the box ways to look at this market. It reminds me a bit of that way I look at traditional markets. I utilize some of his methods, combined with my own methods to trade BTC.

Hopefully, that helps. I think I covered everything here, but there is, of course, a chance I forgot a few. I will add any that I think should be added later. If you have any follows that you like, post them in the comments. Thanks.
