Building the Finest Fin-Tech team which drives toward the MM Objectives. — Prathyusha Nelluri

What’s your story and how did you get involved with MatchMove?

An MBA graduate with Distinction in academics turned Recruiter by choice and started the career with a consulting firm that recruits Techies for Product-Base companies. After 2 years of experience and I felt that I should use this expertise for a dedicated firm and want to build a team of talented folks, but I always prefer to work with start-ups as that would be the best place to learn and groom ourselves by understanding the various departments of HR so when I was researching about the best start-ups in Bangalore I found MatchMove and approached the Director of HR (Shuchi Shukla) and she has taken up the process further. I met all the key stakeholders during my interview process, all are really welcoming that makes the decision to join MatchMove more concrete.

My current role is more inclined towards Hiring the Tech and Non-Tech roles in India other than that taking part in Employee Engagement & Relations. In the very recent times started the Operations related work too.

What do you like about working in MatchMove?

It’s obviously the people, irrespective of the role and department all are really
welcoming and will be always available whenever you need their help.

Name one of your most memorable learning experiences at work.

It’s always a new learning every day when you are surrounded by talented and experienced folks. The best learning is understanding the whole backend process right after selecting the potential candidate and how can be of a more professional way.

How do you overcome work stress?

Of course, Shopping is the best stress buster for me as well whenever I am under stress I will be munching Chocolates/ Desserts.

Can you share one exciting project (outside of work) that you’ve done/or currently working on?

I am always keen to attend webinars, now recently started writing articles on
LinkedIn on the other hand I am the key person in market research and for
customer acquisition for my friend’s start-up.

Looking back, what advice would you tell your younger self?

Learning should be continuous and constant if not you would be a left-over.
