The beautiful sights and sounds of Mallorca (or Majorica if you prefer) can be thoroughly explored with these amazing locations. From the food to the beaches and the hot spots, there is so much to see and do on the island. Discover this wonderful Spanish island, and all it has to offer.

Where to eat: Bahía Mediterráneo

Mallorca is a host of extraordinary cuisine, from small cafes to large multi-floored restaurants, there is a dining experience to suit all needs. There are spots all over the island with tasty treats for all ages and is suitable for even the pickiest of eaters. Indulge on the wide variety of fruits, fish, meats and more.

One restaurant we particularly recommend is the Bahia Mediterraneo. It hosts a fantastic view of the seaside while providing an excellent array of mediteranian cuisine with plenty of seafood. The dishes are constantly changing to use fresh and seasonal ingredients and well as wild caught fish.

Cultural Hub: Catedral-Basílica de Santa María de Mallorca

The Catedral-Basílica de Santa María de Mallorca is located in Palma, situated right along the canal in this photoesque spot. It is built in the classic gothic roman catholique style, completed in 1601. It is an amazing piece of history that has been well preserved for view pleasure.

We recommend going around 13h-15h for the perfect lighting, the stained glass windows will be at their brightest and most colourful. While photos are allowed to be taken on the inside, please be sure to avoid using flash on your cameras. Guided tours or audio tours are provided for a small fee.

An Escape Outside Your Door

Mallorca is no stranger to beautiful views, the island is full of them! For an amazing and relaxing afternoon, perhaps when you are a little tuckered out from all the exploring, take the time to find a wonderful terrance.

It is an amazing way to capture the natural beauty of the island while keeping a relaxed atmosphere. We recommend just before sunset for the most stunning view of the island. Grab someone you love and take a break as you watch the sun set in the beautiful island of Mallorca.

Historical Spot: Fundació Miró Museum

Take a quick look at the amazing artworks in the Fundació Miró Museum. Here, the Pilar and Joan Miró Foundation in Palma has more than 6,000 works by the infamous Catalan painter, as well as temporary exhibitions of contemporary art. The building created in 1992, whose architecture is deeply rooted in its time, is a must see during any visit to Mallorca.

Unique Spot: Baños Arabes

Are you an adventurous and curious person by nature? Or maybe this is not your first time in Mallorca? While some of the usual activities are always nice, sometimes you want to shake things up a bit. If you’re looking for something a little different on this trip why not try the Arab Baths. It is an underground bathhouse.

It has a bit of a spooky atmosphere but that is part of the fun! The spa is fully equipped for you to spend a relaxing day while also providing a sense of wonder and mystery. This is definitely not your usual trip to the spa! Give it a spin for a new experience!

Water works: Calas and Beaches

Of course, this adventure would not be complete without a few trips to the beach. Luckily, Mallorca is infamous for their heavenly beaches, with crystal clear waters, soft sand and amazing weather nearly all year round.

There are lots of beaches to choose from but we recommend the Calos des Moro. It’s distinct shape gives a natural scope of privacy while still retaining the beautiful scenery. It is well maintained, clean and safe. The sand bar is raised so the water is not too deep (good for kids or weak swimmers) plus the crescent moon shape is iconic!

For another great option, check out Ponderosa Beach for some amazing views and tasty menus! The options are unlimited and are sure to satisfy the whole family. Discover all the beauty that Mallorca has to offer.
