Spherity Credentialing Service Now Available on SAP® Store
By integrating with the SAP Information Collaboration Hub, Spherity’s solution allows pharmaceutical supply chain trading partners to share and verify enterprise license status data securely in compliance with U.S. life science market regulations
Spherity announced today that its Spherity Credentialing Service is now available on SAP® Store, the online marketplace for SAP and partner offerings. The solution integrates with the SAP Information Collaboration Hub and offers a service that enables U.S. pharmaceutical supply chain trading partners to easily comply with the DSCSA 2023 Authorized Trading Partner requirements. This supports the FDA’s objective of protecting patient safety. With the solution integrated with SAP’s verification routing service feature, pharmaceutical companies can be assured that they only interact with trading partners that are properly authorized.
“During a two-year pilot, test and validation phase with SAP, industry pioneers and our partners in the Open Credentialing Initiative, we co-developed an interoperable solution that can be connected with verification routing services,” said Georg Jürgens, Manager Industry Solutions at Spherity. “Spherity Credentialing Service is one of the first products on the market to provide electronic interactions a real-time compliance check of the counterparty’s authorized trading partner status under U.S. state or federal law.”
Spherity Credentialing Service has a lean onboarding path for businesses using SAP solutions and requires no additional technical integration. “All I had to do is sign up with Spherity and tell my key account at SAP that I want to use credentialing for product verifications,” said David Mason, Supply Chain Compliance and Serialization Lead at Novartis.
SAP Store, found at store.sap.com, delivers a simplified and connected digital customer experience for finding, trying, buying and renewing more than 1,800 solutions from SAP and its partners. There, customers can find the SAP solutions and SAP-validated solutions they need to grow their business. And for each purchase made through SAP Store, SAP will plant a tree.
