Investor Spotlight: AU21 Capital

With our IDO/IEO right around the corner, we wanted to take this opportunity to introduce our community to one of our early investors: AU21 Capital.

Anyone that has been active in the crypto space within the last year is probably familiar with AU21 Capital. They have been early supporters of many projects across the space, bringing strategic value to founders and their communities.

AU21 Capital was founded by Chandler Guo and Kenzi Wang in 2017 with the mission of backing the most promising blockchain entrepreneurs, and providing founders with resources and connections to succeed.

Chandler previously co-founded Gate.io, one of the top exchanges in Asia. He is also an early investor in blockchain projects and cryptocurrency exchanges including Ethereum, ETC, Metaverse, NEO, Qtum, Binance, and Huobi. Chandler started his career in the blockchain sector by operating one of the largest Bitcoin mining operations in the world.

Kenzi served as Vice President and General Manager at Huobi Global, a leading global exchange, where he directed exchange operations, business development, marketing, venture and listing functions. He is an avid investor in numerous top-tier DeFi and NFT projects, and has helped dozens of companies secure successful listings on top exchanges.

AU21 has a robust portfolio, featuring top projects such as The Graph, Polkadot, Synthetix, Injective Protocol, Polygon, Polkastarter, Terra Virtue, and many more.

At Spherium, we feel that having strong, aligned early investors and supporters such as AU21 will be essential in allowing us to disrupt and shape the current crypto and defi environment in a way that benefits users from all backgrounds, regardless of their level of experience. We welcome AU21 in joining us on this journey.
