Spherium Tokenomics Update
As we near our token generation event, we wanted to share our tokenomics with the community. In this article, we outline all of the specifics regarding token distribution and token economy.
Token Total Supply: 100,000,000. The total supply of $SHPRI is fixed and will never be higher than 100,000,000.
Initial Circulating Supply: 3,202,000. This represents 3.202% of the total supply that will be circulating at the time of our Token Generation Event (TGE). Thus, our initial Market Capitalization will be $624,390.

We believe transparency is paramount to the growth and success of token economies and communities. As such, below we have outlined the vesting/lock schedules for early investors/participants that have supported us since our inception.

We felt it was important to make sure that while our early supporters are rewarded for their conviction and early support, that it is not done at the expense of unlocking large quantities of tokens upon token generation. As you can see above, 10% of the strategic round, 20% of the private sale round, and 10% of the seed sale round allocations will be unlocked at TGE. Following TGE, only 3.202% of the total supply will be in the hands of sale participants.
We appreciate the support our community has shown us, as well as the support we have received from our earliest supporters. We look forward to continuing this journey with all of you as we continue towards our goal of creating a fully functional, all-in-one wallet to meet all of your cross-chain dex needs.
For the Spherium founding team, a core goal is to bring value and returns to all our supporters. As a result, we’ve decided to decrease the $SPHRI initial circulating supply by increasing the time and initial percentage from the vesting schedule of our seed and private investors.
This decision, fortunately, was backed by each of our investors. This tokenomics change will not only increase the time and commitment of the long-term partnership Spherium has with its initial backers, but it will also decrease the initial market capitalization of our project. This, hopefully, will bring higher returns to every token holder and supporter.
