Discovering the Trionfi della Luna Tarot: First Impressions

I’ve been wondering how I could delve even deeper into the secrets of the tarot and become a better reader. One of the answers I came up with was to add a new deck to my tarot reader’s toolbox. Choosing the right deck wasn’t difficult — I optede for the Trionfi Della Luna tarot deck with illustrated pips and English text.
I haven’t owned the Trionfi Della Luna deck for very long, but I’m already obsessed. I use this deck almost every day for the daily readings I do over on my YouTube channel.
About the deck
The Trionfi Della Luna is a beautifully crafted tarot deck, created by artist and fellow tarot enthusiast Patrick Valenza. This is the very same guy who is also behind my long-standing favorite, the Deviant Moon Tarot Deck.
The deck contains the traditional 78 cards you’d expect, as well as 10 bonus cards, most of them alternative takes on the Devil card. ‘The Lightning’ bonus card reminds me a lot of the Tower, albeit with a twist.
The Trionfi Della Luna is inspired by traditional Italian tarot decks like the Marseilles and the Tarrochi, rather than the more commonly used Rider-Waite-Smith tarot decks. A quirky design choice I really like is that the Trionfi…
