As we are ramping up to our upcoming token sale late this year. as part of this ramping up, we are also growing the team. I wanted to introduce you to the newest team members of SPiCE.

The first one is Vincenç Martí who is joining us as a venture partner where he will be helping us secure deal flow, analyze companies, and manage some of them in our portfolio. Vincenç is currently the president of Tangelo Games, a leading social gaming company publicly traded in the Toronto Stock Exchange that acquired his previous startups Akamon two years ago. In his spare time he is also president and board member of elrow, the absolute leader in electronic music event around world which he helped sell to Providence last year. Vicenç is from Barcelona (and a hard core FC Barcelona fan which we like as well) where he spends his time when he is not traveling around tech hubs such as San Francisco, London, Berlin, Tel Aviv, Singapore or Toronto. One week a year is reserved for his yearly peregrination to decompress at Burning Man. He also has had a very successful corporate past in companies like Cirsa, Custo and Vueling where he lead their IPO with their CEO as their Chief Marketing Officer. Vincenç is bringing with him a wealth of experience in startups and M&A as well as an extensive network of contacts throughout the world that will helps us source the best startups for our fund and help them grow successfully. He also brings a different perspective and life experience to the current team that we think will be very complementary and add a lot of value to us.

The second new member is Jocellin Lee, with an MsC in Media and Communications from the London School of Economics where she wrote a very interesting dissertation on the differences in social media usage by Web 2.0 companies and the new crop of blockchain companies. She is fluent in English, Mandarin and Korean (where she is originally from). Jocellin will be in charge of marketing and community management for our fund, an important role in a tokenized fund since we expect to have a much larger base of investors than in a traditional fund that will be expecting very regular and transparent communication from us about the fund performance. Jocellin brings a unique expertise in marketing and growth for startups in the blockchain space, after having worked for several of them, a skill that is hard to find these days. She has also been working on strategic partnerships and communications for the World Bank, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade between multi countries (Korea, China, New Zealand, Australia, etc.). In her spare time she plays the cello and is the lead cellist at the JP Morgan Orchestra in London and we hope she can use the connection to convince Jamie Dimon about the benefits of Bitcoin... Last, but not least, Jocellin also brings some gender diversity to our team which is something to celebrate these days in the world of technology.

A a startup, even if it is a fund like in our case, is what our people make out of it. And, when they all come together with a shared vision and passion, magic happens. We could say much more about Vicenç and Jocellin but we would still come up short of describing how excited we are to have them joining us in this journey of creating the first truly liquid, inclusive and transparent VC and disrupting the venture capital industry. Welcome to SPiCE VC!!
