Love Post

This is a love post —

one that deconstructs

deconstructionists.

This is a love post

that does not speak of love

because this love does not

include

all the hate and violence,

the mental illness, depression, sadness,

the blindness…

This is a love post —

one searching for a voice

or at least acceptance

from the bored

who feel comfortable not singing.

This is a love post —

one too privileged to dance or

fear for its safety,

one held together by

caution tape

over hearts threatening to leak

certain catch phrases

“You gave me your wonder,

your change is measured back in …”
