Seriously. It’s 2016. People are getting ready to move to Mars. Cars drive themselves. DJ Tanner is back on the air, thanks Netflix. But I can’t even send you this song I think you’ll like. WTF. At least in the 90s I could hand you a mixtape and you could drop it into your Walkman® and jam out between classes. You knew it would play. No logins or links trying to open apps you don’t have. Just hit the button, and it played. Why can’t we have that today?

SongShare on the other hand is hitting the App Store and is ready for to be added to your iMessaging arsenal. It’s a really fast and easy way to find a song and share it with someone. That’s it. No accounts required. No sharing files. Just simple sharing of songs.
It just plays! It’s like magic. Sweet, sweet, legal, magic.
Sounds cool, but this shit will be taken down by the end of the week, right. No way Josè, Spinlist isn’t hosting or stealing anything. We’re simply indexing and directing the playback to sources that are legit (youtube, soundcloud, spotify, and more soon).
Some things to know.
- Spinlist™ indexing will get smarter over time, and learn to not show sh*tty results, like the live karoke version of your favorite song. (sorry if that happens, laugh it off and lets us know so we can make it better)
- Yep, iPhone users can share these songs to Android friends, they are just URLs and will 100% open and play for anyone. (that’s the point, anyone, anywhere, it just plays)
- It’s FREE. Really. and you don’t need any accounts to use SongShare.
- Singing out loud is no longer a crime, and you should do it more often. Not just in the shower or your car.
