With the profitable assistance of glittering Hollywood studios, we deceive ourselves with high-resolution images that portray dystopia as dark grey, covered in brown haze and alluring. In reality, any dystopic society worth the name is anything but bland. It carries a mysterious allure — the marble palace of Circe. That allure, not the drab dusty brown, is the very reason why it makes Hollywood so much money.
