NFT — The Symbol of a Bored Society Dumbing Down?
Sure, it's great tech, but are digitized heads really profoundly changing our lives for the better?
Whenever I see another pixelated dumb-head auctioned for millions, some more grey brain cells in my head die of despair for humanity.
Or what about Disaster Girl selling her head in front of a burning house as an NFT for $500.000,-?
Maybe I’m the dump-head and I can’t see that the average NFT makes Van Gogh an amateur and it’s redefining digital ownership, reshaping the future.
Are NFT’s the visual representation of our youth numbing out and dumbing down?
A huge group of society is in utter isolation since they’re told to isolate. In fear to face fellow humans, alienated from real touch, hugs or any meaningful or intimate connection. Instead, glued to a screen, the portal to the world.
An addictive world.
Is all of this the result of our unprecedented bubble-of-everything world that hasn’t collapsed yet in its totality? Making room for a more healthy, spirit-nature connected reality?
I can’t help but wonder; how did we get here? And why?
