Welcome to Spiritual But Not Religious! We’re excited to share perspectives on spirituality that are inclusive, open-minded, and thought-provoking. Our goal is to create a space for writers who explore spirituality beyond traditional religious boundaries. If your voice aligns with our mission, please read the guidelines below before submitting your work.

What We’re Looking For

  • Originality: We value unique perspectives. Articles should offer fresh insights or personal reflections on spiritual growth, mindfulness, purpose, interconnectedness, or any experience that contributes to a deeper understanding of self and life.
  • Tone: We aim for a conversational, authentic, and accessible tone. Avoid jargon and aim for clarity, as we welcome readers from diverse spiritual backgrounds.
  • Length: Articles should be around 800–1,200 words. Shorter pieces are fine if they pack a punch, and longer pieces may be considered if the topic justifies it.
  • Depth and Insight: We love articles that dig a little deeper. Explain the “why” behind your thoughts, use personal anecdotes, or draw connections to relatable experiences.

Content We Accept

  • Essays and Reflections: Personal stories that convey insights on spirituality or spiritual growth.
  • How-To Articles: Tips or techniques that support spiritual development, such as mindfulness practices…
