The idea that the Bible has been changed over the years — with the implication that we dont know what it originally said — is once again making the rounds.

To put it as gently as possible, this is a lie. Full stop.

It would be simple to prove if it were true. Produce an earlier copy that says something different. No one has been able to do that.

We have very old copies and they all say the same thing that modern copies say.

Every single word, and I mean EVERY SINGLE WORD, can be traced back to 200 a.d. and beyond in some cases. You can even trace things like “A”, “the,” or “and.”

It takes a little work but it isn’t all that hard either. There are tools online so you can do it with a few mouse clicks. There are tools to help you get to the original words even if you dont know Greek.

We have copies of some parts of the New Testament from before 200 a.d. The oldest Greek texts are available online.

Another huge piece of evidence is more than 10,000 copies of ancient texts, stretching from England to Egypt to Spain to Turkey. They all say the same things.
