What is the ‘Word’ of God
It’s not the Bible. Inspirational and theological stories in 100 words.
The Bible is not the “Word of God.” It’s more clear in Greek. “Word” meaning the exact likeness and essence of something is “Logos.” The “Word” meaning what is written on a page is “Rhema.”
Jesus is the Logos of God, the essence and reality of God in human form. Words written about him are not God. Whenever you see “Word” in the New Testament, it may be referring to the Christ. How would that affect meaning?
Our faith should be in the Logos (Christ) not the same thing as Rhema (Bible).
