Let’s Celebrate the Spirit of Christmas
Open your hearts instead of gift boxes.
Christmas isn’t about decorations.
It’s not about putting up an X-mas tree.
It’s isn’t about hanging giant stockings either,
We don't even need to bake Christmas cookies.
Most of the time, we feel burdened.
Many of us gloom
And feel anxious about gifting presents.
To fulfill this old ritual.
But, Christmas isn’t about gifting each other.
It isn’t a festival of lights and glamour.
What I have learned about Christmas is different.
We don’t need to give or expect any presents.
Every year, I celebrate Christmas as a day to cherish,
To feel lively about life.
We all know the story of St. Nicholas.
He never began the tradition of gifting to make kids happy.
But, he started this gesture to plant the seeds of hope.
Santa wants us to celebrate the spirit of Christmas,
Not Christmas
And we can do it without any…
