Mediation and Inspirations
Many things inspire meditation, and meditation inspires many things.
I combine many ways in my meditation. 45 years ago, I started with TM and was so excited by a new spiritual reality, I jumped in too fast and left physical reality behind. Gradually, with meditation, I began to balance my inner and outer realities, and added the following of breathing, learned from Buddhism. And inspiration came from much in outer reality, as trees, the sunlight, and the earth itself.
As I continued meditating, I became more aware of so much, especially other human beings and the Whole of Humanity. I became aware of powerful love energy in my heart (chakra). This reminded me of what Lanu Pitan said, “This is a state of being aware of what you are doing, as well as your surrounding.” Also, Beth Stormont said, “Nothing is static in the universe — all is energy and in constant motion.”
K. Barrett wrote an article about “Heart Math,” and I responded with, “I call it Heart Energy, and the depth of my love for Humanity has become sending out love energy from my heart to my body and self, to loved ones, and to all Humanity, and has become so strong in my meditation today
I missed the prompt for Spiritual Saturday, but Lanu Pitan graciously suggested that I still send one on “Ways of Meditation.” Thank you, Lanu and Darshak Rana, for a great community in Spiritual Secrets, whom I love very much. It is a home for me on Medium.
