We Are All Slaves of Time — A Tanka

the rock sits steady
water flows around the rock
the rock wins battle
the rock fished out from deep sea
broken for fossil within

A Tanka is a Haiku with two lines added at the end. These lines can introduce a change in time, place, person, feelings, and emotions, or show a connection between different situations and things.
