Are you a sinner saved by grace? Really?

At 25:43, Johnny shares how a Korean pastor from his mom’s church shared with him that the root of sin is unbelief:

I’ve been a Christian all my life.

I keep hearing fellow Christians repeat the line “I’m just a sinner saved by grace.”

I’m thinking, Dude. You don’t actually believe. If you WERE really saved, how do you keep saying you ARE a sinner?

So glad this “tiny Korean pastor” of Johnny’s mom got the right message.

I WAS a sinner saved by grace to bear works worthy of salvation.

I think it’s a lazy cop-out to keep saying “I’m just a sinner saved by grace.” If that’s what you say about yourself, the world would have to excuse your sins and you could just continue sinning and say the “sinner’s prayer” again and again to reset the counter to 0 and nothing changes. #christianity #jesusistheway #sin #humannature
