Don’t pray for answers. 🙏 Ask for this instead!

Share my good news today.
I walked 4,000 steps versus a recent average of 300 steps. That’s more than a tenfold increase but more importantly, I walked all over the mall today WITHOUT PAIN. This feels like a rebirth after two months of being housebound due to debilitating pain.
We went to watch Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes. (Recommended. I especially liked the “ape church” scene. It felt very familiar to me.) 😆 The movie was followed by lunch at a Vietnamese restaurant, and then I went for a haircut at my barber, which was three months overdue, and now I feel like my head is so light it’s floating, almost. I’m thankful that I managed to do all these without any pain in my foot.
From walking to my bathroom at home making me break out in cold sweat to walking all over the mall with no pain just feels miraculous to me, and I give glory to God And his Wisdom.
Divine wisdom is being able to see and apply timeless principles to the timely problem at hand.
Instead of asking God for answers, ask him for wisdom instead. I believe he desires to give us his wisdom more than answers. (I remember a preacher saying he asked God what colour toothbrush he should use, because he was so devoted to doing God’s will. God replied, “I don’t care what colour of toothbrush you use, just brush your teeth,” the preacher said.)
That’s the wisdom of God.
Are you faced with any difficult decision right now? Try asking God for wisdom instead of answers. When wisdom comes, you’ll know what to do, and can implement it with confidence.
