Bloom Into Yourself

A Spiritual Poetry

In a lake of pearl white,
Lies the sole flower,
With petals so baffling,
So infinitely numerous.

On each petal,
A moment captured,
For eternity,
Forever.

Travelling to its roots,
In another universe,
Similar to it,
Yet so different.

Not all petals,
Not all moments,
Are the same,
For this universe.

It judges,
It shies,
Away from things,
It doesn’t like.

Thus the petal falls,
To their demise,
And all it likes,
Goes to bloom.

Things it don’t like,
Still make its way,
Like thorns that can’t,
Stay away.

They become the thorny,
Bushes around the garden,
Of flowers in that universe,
Once deemed worthy.
