Life allows us to meet many faces
It opens our eyes to some incredible places
Give credit where it is due
For it is the result of nothing but our wise choices

Life is my first guru, my first teacher
It has always served as my mirror
That is why I was able to see the real me
That is how I learned my true identity

I started to cry one day
As I looked into it closely
After tears had cleansed my eyes
I had an epiphany
The dust was on my windows and
I blamed the world for being hazy
Beauty was inside and all around me
